AM Featured Alumni: Laura Skowronski Nattam

This is pretty darn cool, and very humbling.

Thank you so much, to AM, Purdue, all of the SpeakeasyFX crew, my husband, and of course all of my family and friends, for giving me something wonderful to write about. I owe this most fortunate experience to all of your love and encouragement.

Hey Laura,

I just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU! You had no idea how much your interview/story inspired me to continue on with AnimationMentor. I'm actually a former Class 1 student who struggled and decided to take some time off, and I'm now back in the Maya Springboard, just about halfway through now. And for the last couple of nights, I've been struggling with thinking about if I truly have what it takes and if I truly can Animate professionally. With what you said, the reward and the passion - I'm ready to start Animating next week and give it all I've got!

Thank you again.

- Jeremy

AWESOME! Jeremy, that is so sweet! I am so glad you found inspiration from the article. You know, something I didn't mention was that I took some time off too during my experience at Animation Mentor - for a little while I was juggling classwork with a full time creative job, and it was too much for me. I knew I needed a break to clear my head, reset, and come back into it with full strength. Sometimes, if we know ourselves well, we just know that's what we have to do. I am so glad that you're psyched for animation again, and always always follow your heart!
